Danielle, a Partner at the practice since 2017, is originally from the North East and studied Law at Nottingham Law School. This included a one year work placement at Saunders Law LLP following which she worked for a leading Nottingham Criminal firm, where she qualified as police station accredited representative and gained a vast amount of experience representing suspects for a wide range of offences. She joined Reynolds Dawson in January 2011, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2013.

Danielle has developed her expertise in dealing with criminal matters, always mindful of the possible disciplinary repercussions which may follow for an officer, even in the event of an acquittal. Danielle regularly advises officers in relation to allegations of excessive force and in instances where death or serious injury has resulted from police contact. She has considerable experience in advising and assisting police officers in relation to both on and off duty criminal and gross misconduct allegations.

Previous cases include the arrest of officers by the Specialist Investigation branch of the Department of Professional Standards for corruption allegations including Misconduct in a Public Office in Operation Elveden, during the Plebgate scandal and Operation Joseph.
